What We Do
Family Centre Durbanville
We have a heart for Family Life in our community. We believe that God has called us as a church to impact the huge deficits that exist in family values in Durbanville and the surrounding areas. We’ve seen the marriage problems, we’ve seen the divorce, we’ve seen the lack of effective parenting, we’ve seen families torn apart by work and stress, we’ve seen the struggle in our community to steward finances in a Godly way, we’ve seen the devastating effect of grief and loss, we’ve seen the need to establish and position people in Durbanville for blessing and release by God in their lives.
And that’s why the Family Centre Durbanville (FCD) exists as a ministry of this church. FCD trains counselors, runs targeted courses which address these community needs and offers counseling. FCD has been tremendously helpful in ploughing into our lives within the church. But our deep desire is to see FCD also start to change more and more the fabric of family values in our wider community outside the formal church.

Parenting today is no easy matter, and FCD has a seminar that is an EXCELLENT resource for parents.
Grief Recovery
“GriefShare” is a Grief Recovery Support Group if you've lost a spouse, child, family member or friend - that will help you recover from this difficult time in your life.
Do you struggle to say “no”?
FCD presents the “Boundaries” seminar, which helps individuals to establish healthy borders in their lives.
Purpose & self-esteem
“Positioned for Blessing” will help you find healing from hurts and establish your true identity, self esteem and purpose in life so that you can live a successful and blessed life.
