San Relief Fundraising Dinner

Reach the Lost!—- Reach the Community!—- Bring the Kingdom!

You are ALL cordially invited to come & eat a meal that will in turn feed and care for the needy!

What?
As well as an authentic Botswana meal, there will be an informative presentation of the plight of the San people in Ghansi, and the work being done there. Come prepared for an auction of San related artwork!

When? Tuesday, 28 February 2012 at 7pm

Where?  Streams Café, ESCC Buildings

Cost?  R250 - of which R150 will go directly to support of the San people in Ghansi

Some more background ...
Over the past 6 years, teams from El Shaddai Church have been going to Botswana on mission trips. We have formed relationship with Li and Rose, who live there as missionaries and have a huge heart for the people. They are currently fighting to get identity documents for the people, regular food rations; water; jobs and rights to the land. The San are destitute and being treated unfairly by the ‘the powers that be’. If you meet them, you would agree that they are a beautiful, peaceful and very wise people. Over the years we have seen them grow in dignity, creativity, self-sustainability (farming crops), and family values. They need as much help as we can give them, for at this time, they are fighting for their survival.
