“GriefShare” is a Grief Recovery Support Group run by Family Centre Durbanville - that will help you after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend to recover from this difficult time in your life.
What? Griefshare is a weekly video seminar series featuring some of the world’s foremost experts on grief recovery topics. Each weekly seminar (for a period of 14 weeks) is combined with a grief support group discussion time to allow group participants to talk about the content of the seminar and about how they are dealing with the loss of their loved one.
Who? GriefShare is a support ministry for people grieving the death of a loved one no matter how recent or long ago the loss occurred. However, it is specifically focused on grief over a death and therefore not intended for situations such as divorce, terminal illness, loss of a pet, etc.
When? Every Monday evening from 13 February to 14 May 2012 from 7.00pm to 9.00pm
Where? “Upper Room” venue, El Shaddai Church premises (see map)
Cost? R250, which includes a handbook
