El Shaddai Christian Church at its core is built around cells – groups of usually about 8 to 12 of us who meet together regularly in each other’s homes and function as a spiritual family to each other. We believe that true discipleship and spiritual maturing happen in small groups – from 2 or 3 of us fathering, mentoring or evangelising each other at an individual level to coming together as “family” in cell groups each week. Therefore, being part of a cell group really is essential to being part of the life of our church. If you’re keen, give the church office a call or email – or find out more at the Info Desk at Sunday’s Service. We’ll make sure we find the most suitable and appropriate “fit” of cell group for you and link you with a welcoming cell group leader to make it easy for you to join in.

Are you young, in grade 7 or up and looking to “do church” with people your own age? Here’s how at ESCC:
Friday nights! All high school (gr 7 to 12) pupils are welcome for an evening of fun & activities, followed by a time of input & ministry.
Where? The ESCC auditorium
When? Every Friday from 7 to 9.30pm
We can do more together than we can do apart! That’s why we get together corporately at least every Sunday for regular worship and 5-fold ministry equipping for our Kingdom calling as a church. This is what enables us to be an effective “army” in addition to being “family” together. So be sure to join us at 9am on Sunday mornings. Our Children’s Church Ministry takes place at the same time (see below). Contact the church office for more info.
We truly believe our children also need to be living genuine & impactful Kingdom lives. Our children’s ministries are in full force on Sunday mornings - here’s how your child can link in:
Cry Room for babies – a comfortable, sound-proof room located at the back of the church for parents to take their babies ages 0 - 18 months. A changing room is avaiable. There is a visual and audio feed of the service into the room so parents don’t miss out on the service.
Tiny Tots - for little ones between 18 and 36 months. This room, across the foyer from the auditorium, is available from the start of the service for parents to take their children to. There are toys for the kids, and a visual and audio feed of the service into the room. After worship, there is adult supervision, giving parents the option of leaving their children there and returning to the service.
Toddlers - for children who are 3 and 4 years old. An age-appropriate teaching program is run here and parents can drop their toddlers off at 9am, or stay with them if they prefer. Children must be potty-trained. Located across the foyer from the auditorium.
Pre-Primary - for children who are turning 5 or 6 during the year. A more advanced teaching curriculum is taught to these little ones, mixed with lots of play time and fun too. Located in a classroom off the quad.
Grade 1-6 - drop your primary-school child off at the media room, for a morning full of worship, teaching and lots of great interaction. Grades 5 and 6 break away to the upper room later in the morning for teaching directed at pre-teens.
